Rations
Flameless Ration Heater
A water-activated chemical heater packed with each MRE. Soldiers add a small amount of water to heat the entree pouch without flame or electricity.
MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat)
A case of 12 individual Meal, Ready-to-Eat rations, the standard U.S. military field ration. Each meal contains an entree, sides, snacks, drink mix, accessory pack, and a flameless ration heater.
Water & hydration
1-Quart Canteen
The standard 1-quart olive drab plastic canteen carried in a canteen cover on the belt or ruck. Made of high-density polyethylene with an attached screw cap; nests with the stainless canteen cup.
5-Gallon Water Can
The standard 5-gallon (20-liter) rigid plastic military water can with a wide-mouth screw cap and small vented pour opening. Used for hauling and storing potable water in the field.
Canteen Cup
A heavy-gauge stainless steel cup with folding butterfly handles that nests under the 1-quart canteen in its cover. Soldiers use it to heat water and cook over flame or field stoves.
