Worn items
Cushion-Sole Boot Socks
Over-the-calf military boot sock with a cushioned terry foot and anti-microbial silver-coated nylon fibers. Worn with combat boots for daily wear, ruck marches, and field training.
Reflective PT Belt
A 2-inch-wide elastic neon-yellow belt with a silver retro-reflective center band and quick-release buckle, adjustable from about 22 to 54 inches. Worn during physical training and around motor pools to make the wearer visible to vehicle drivers.
Personal equipment
Brown Towel
Brown 100% cotton terry bath towel, approximately 23 x 44 inches. The standard-issue towel Soldiers pack for field hygiene, basic training, and CIF layouts.
Camouflage Face Paint
Two-color camouflage face paint stick with light green on one end and loam (dark brown) on the other, the standard woodland-pattern stick. Soldiers use it to break up the outline and shine of exposed skin during field and tactical training.

Ear Plugs with Case
Reusable triple-flange rubber earplugs in regular (medium) size, international orange, the classic issued hearing protection worn on the firing range and around loud equipment. Supply issues them in packages of 24 plugs; the plastic carrying case is a separate item of supply.

ID Tag Chains
Stainless-steel bead-chain set for wearing identification (dog) tags: a long neck chain of about 27 inches plus a short 5.5-inch extension loop that suspends the second tag. Standard issue for carrying the two-tag set required in uniform.
