FM 7-22 replaced the old physical readiness training manual with the Holistic Health and Fitness system. It covers physical, nutritional, mental, spiritual, and sleep readiness, plus how to build and run a unit physical readiness program. Changes have been issued against it since publication, so download the current file rather than a saved copy.

    Precision, progression, and integration. Precision means exercises are performed to standard. Progression means the workload increases in a deliberate, systematic way. Integration means multiple training components are combined in a balanced program.
